As administrator of Morning Glory Assisted Living Inc., Vanessa's focus is connecting her experience and leadership role along with serving patients, veterans, and residents to provide the best caregiver experience and ensuring her staff does the same. Even though she has many duties, the one that is paramount is listening to patients and determining their needs. Vanessa says, "In my role, I dedicate time to helping others regardless of age, color, gender, or nationality. Empowering all others to spend more time with the underserved, wounded veterans, and seniors."

Whenever Vanessa forms a goal, she is unstoppable in achieving it. Her education goals, for example, were not hindered by working in various health-related jobs. She juggled a tight work-schedule to earn her License as a Family Care Home Administrator. She attended Strayer University in Business Administration with a specialization in Health Care Management.
